Project Management

No two long term care facilities are alike. That’s why we assign an experienced Project Management team to customize the SigmaCare^® implementation to your facility’s specific needs and challenges.

We employ standard project management methodologies in accordance with the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) framework by the Project Management Institute, Inc. (PMI).

• Readiness
  Your SigmaCare Project Manager will conduct a formal Project Readiness Review to prepare the Implementation Team (trainers and technical support analysts) with best practices, lessons learned and to solicit input before engaging the new project.
  
  
• Planning
  The SigmaCare Project Manager is responsible for the development and management of all essential documents during the planning phase, including the Project Concept, Master Project Plan, Communications Management Plan, Risk Management Plan and ultimately, the Quality Management Plan.
  
  
• Tracking and Change Control
  Tracking and change control activities are performed using the guidance provided by the Master Project Plan and include Cost and Schedule Tracking, Communications Tracking, Issue and Action Item Tracking, Status Reporting and Project Reviews.
  
  
• Quality Control
  The Project Management Team continually tracks progress, comparing actual results against the goals outlined in the Master Project Plan.
  
  
• Phase Closeout and Lessons Learned
  SigmaCare ensures the proper closure of a life-cycle phase before proceeding to the next phase. Close-out activities include review of all goals and objectives of the phase, final status and closure of issues and risks related to the phase, and review of documentation and files for archival or destruction.
  
  
• Risk Management
  SigmaCare employs the standard Software Risk Evaluation (SRE) Methodology certified by the Software Engineering Institute, to ensure 100% customer satisfaction. The SRE process includes a variety of steps which allow us to offer our customers a continuous sense of security during the project plan.
